What is a scissor lifting table and how does it work?

A lifting table is suitable for lifting and lowering heavy loads and consists of a platform to accommodate the loads to be lifted, one or more scissors placed below the platform and a base frame. While one side of the scissors is rotatable, the other side can move horizontally within the platform and the base frame, raising or lowering the platform.

The hydraulic scissor lifting table is driven by a hydraulic power pack that pumps oil into the lifting cylinders. Since the cylinders are connected to the two parts of the scissor lift table, the platform and the load on it are lifted by extending the cylinders. The lowering of the platform is achieved by retracting the cylinders.
