End Trucks are the wheel assemblies mounted on each end of the bridge that gives the bridge the ability to travel along the length of runways. They are made with trolleys, safety cables, and a tee that connects to the bridge. The capacity of the end truck may determine the capacity of the bridge. End trucks can either be rigid or articulating.
The articulating feature of the end truck maximizes the ability of the operator to precisely position a load by allowing the operator to move only the portion of the bridge near the load. This feature also reduces the push/pull force to less than 1% of the load.
