Crane Electrics

There are standard contactor controls available for all common control voltages for crane systems with components from STAHL CraneSystems. In their basic version, the components are supplied with plug connections as far as this is technically possible and meets requirements. The standard equipment can be supplemented individually with various control and monitoring components as well as optional frequency inverters for hoists and travel drives to suit your specific application. This equipment will increase safety in material handling and lengthen the service life of the system.

FAQs

What control voltages are supported by the standard contactor systems?

Crane Electrics are designed to operate with all common control voltages, making them suitable for global applications. This includes compatibility with both low-voltage and medium-voltage control systems.

Can the system be integrated with frequency inverters for variable speed control?

Yes. Frequency inverters are available as an optional feature for both hoisting and travel motions. They enable smooth acceleration/deceleration, reduce mechanical stress, and improve load handling precision.

Are plug-and-play connections available for all components?

Plug connections are provided wherever technically feasible, especially for standard modules. This simplifies installation, reduces wiring errors, and supports modular system expansion or maintenance.

Is the system compatible with remote control or automation platforms?

Yes. Crane Electrics can be integrated with wireless remote control systems and advanced automation platforms, including PLCs and SCADA systems, for enhanced operational flexibility and monitoring.

Are explosion-proof electrical components available for hazardous environments?

Yes. Explosion-proof versions of Crane Electrics are available and certified for ATEX and IECEx zones, making them suitable for use in oil & gas, chemical, and other hazardous industrial environments.
