The HMPD Series 250 lb. capacity with clutch offers a balance of strength and safety features for industrial applications. The clutch prevents damage to the actuator and machinery by slipping when the load exceeds a pre-set limit. The clutch can also provide end-of-travel protection by holding the load securely, even if the clutch slips.
